Oftimes the values of craftworks and tools handed down by our ancestors are rediscoverd in later ages.This boat called sabani, which has come down from antiquity, is a typical example of such artifacts . In this region, where typhoons frequent, the existence of sabani must have meant great for the creation of excellent maritime people called uminchu.
