〈サメの歯の伝説〉
南太平洋に住む原住民によると、海水が天から注がれたとき、海の神Ohav Lai（オハブ・レイ）は人食いザメに海の制覇をかけた戦いを挑まれました。
太平洋の深海における長い一日の戦いの後、オハブ・レイは大きなサメの歯を身につけて海から出てきました。
この日から南太平洋に住む原住民たちは、人食いザメの歯は海の悪魔から人々を解放し、長期にわたる繁栄をもたらすものとして信じられるようになりました。

(Legends of shark teeth)
According to the aborigine who lives in the South Pacific, when seawater was poured from the heaven, god of the sea Ohab Lay was challenged to a fight by the man-eating shark. It competed for the hegemony of the sea. A long fight is done in the ocean in the Pacific Ocean, and Ohab Lay has come out from the sea wearing teeth of a big dogfish to the body.
